A 14-inch steam header is used as the main steam manifold for boiler plants requiring large-scale steam distribution to multiple process areas. The large-diameter header helps maintain smooth steam flow during high demand, reduces bottlenecks, and maintains more consistent process temperatures by preventing excessive pressure drops in the distribution system.
The package specifications, fabricated with ASME-standard flanges and fittings, are equipped with a globe valve, exhaust blowdown, bypass, safety valve, pressure gauge, and hand hole for internal inspection. Configurations can be customized, including the number of outlet branches, inlet positions, drain pots, and brackets and supports, to suit the plant layout.
